DAILY SCRIPTURE

Esther 1:15

“According to law, what must be done to Queen Vashti?” he asked. “She has not obeyed the command of King Xerxes that the eunuchs have taken to her.”

MEDITATION

The woman’s first place of call according to the word of God is to help the husband. To disobey one’s husband is to disobey and disregard the word of God and His system and hierarchy He’s set in the earth. Spiritually every man and woman are equal, but physically they’re not. The Lord did it that way, so that there will be order on the earth just as there’s order in heaven. Two bulls cannot drink from the same bucket, they will lock horns. Queen Vashti’s refusal to appear before the King was deemed as disobedience, dishonour, disregard and insubordination towards the King. As a wife, learn to be obedient and submissive to your husband and see the blessing of marriage rest on you.
