DAILY SCRIPTURE

Ephesians 5:22

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.

MEDITATION

The scripture above admonishes every wife to submit to their husbands as they do to Christ.

To submit means to obey one’s husband even as they obey Christ. To submit also means to subject yourself under your husband’s authority. To submit also means to yield yourself to your husband’s advice and admonition.

To submit to your husband does not mean you’re weak or feeble, neither does it make you less of a person, on the contrary to submit oneself means you possess a lot of power, it is only in this regard that you will be able to fully express that power.

DECLARATION

I will subject myself under my husband’s authority.

I do so willingly to the glory of God
